Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SkinScope.gg ("SkinScope", "we", "our") is operated by MaryBee s.r.o., IČO 51255871, Slovak Republic. For any privacy-related request, write toprivacy@skinscope.games.

2. What we collect

  • Steam public profile (SteamID64, display name, avatar URL) when you sign in with Steam OpenID. No password is ever seen by us.
  • Email address if you provide one for alerts or receipts.
  • App usage events: pages viewed, skins opened, portfolio actions, paper-trade history. Needed for features like the view-quota counter and historical backtest.
  • Billing data when you subscribe: handled entirely by Stripe. We only store the Stripe customer id and subscription id; card numbers never touch our servers.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent, request timestamp, kept for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.

3. What we do NOT collect

We do not access your Steam inventory, trade history, or API keys unless you explicitly paste them in Settings. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not profile you for advertising.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on contract performance (delivering the service you signed up for), our legitimate interest in keeping the service running safely, and your consent for optional features (email newsletters, analytics cookies).

5. Your rights

You can request a data export, correction, or deletion at any time by emailingprivacy@skinscope.games. We respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov).

6. Cookies + analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies (auth session) and a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible) that does not set tracking cookies. No third-party ad trackers.

7. Third-party services

  • Stripe (billing) — subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Supabase (database hosting, EU region).
  • Vercel (app hosting).
  • Steam OpenID (authentication).
  • CSFloat / Skinport / Waxpeer public APIs (read-only price data).

8. Beta software disclaimer

SkinScope is currently in public beta. Data correctness, uptime and feature availability are best-effort. Do not rely on SkinScope as your sole trading signal. See Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

9. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
